CAZ Forms a Cyber Secutity Interim Working Group |

The Communications Authority of Zambia has formed a Cyber Security Interim Working Group, which will spearhead Cyber Security issues in the country as per the resolutions of a regional ITU Meeting.
Among the issues it will look at are: - Main challenges faced by countries in the region in developing frameworks for Cyber Security and Critical Information Infrastructure Protection (CIIP)
- Sensitize the public and all other ICT stakeholders about activities being carried out by ITU and other ICT and security entities
- Promote Cyber Cecurity Culture
- Nationa Cyber Security Strategy
- Legal Foundation and Enforcement
- Monitor and Manage e-applications.
The working group was formed after a workshop in Chisamba, from 25th to 28th August, 2008. For more information, log on to CAZ news. |
